Digital composition, design, typography, color, imaging, editing, animation, sounds, graphics, and video are the informational projects from which students will construct media rich knowledge structures. Students will develop necessary skills and obtain hands-on experiences working with a variety of multimedia tools to build linear and non-linear interactive products. An integral component in other areas, understanding design elements is essential in the creation of a successful products in this course.
Students are expected to utilize technology for appropriate educational experiences. Technology is a powerful tool that can be used to support instructional goals. Students are also expected to make intelligent choices when working with technology, including appropriate behavior that will not hamper the use of technology by other students or professional personnel in the district.
